Dean Himelick is remaining as president, and the current Logo Boys management team will continue to lead the company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Our current Logo Boys staff brings a long-standing wealth of knowledge, resources and expertise in the image building business that will assist us in continuing to expand our product and service offerings to help businesses who want to establish and grow their company's marketing and sales efforts,” said Dean Himelick, president of Logo Boys Inc. “This change is unfortunate, however we appreciate Bob's contributions and wish him the best as he moves on to new horizons. In the meantime, we are building staff with new capabilities, including an internal design center. Since January, our sales are climbing. Our first quarter sales are 67% over projected revenue. We are expecting to continue our current rate of growth.”
“Today there are more than one million businesses in the tri-state area. Most are using image building solutions such as embroidered uniforms, advertising specialty items, giveaways, corporate gifts, and t-shirts to help sell their products and services, which is driving small and medium businesses to establish themselves in most industries. This creates a tremendous opportunity for Logo Boys to help businesses establish, enhance, and market their companies in consumer and business-to-business markets,” said Josh Anderson, customer service manager.
“Logo Boys has one of the broadest portfolios of products in the industry, strong brand recognition, a solid understanding of the small and medium business markets, and a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing the support and ideas these companies need to be successful. With over a thousand customers, we are one of the largest image building providers in northen Indiana and southern Michigan, that has in-house embroidery machines, a design center, and a fulfillment warehouse,” added Richard Geraghty, national sales manager. “We are looking forward to working with many more businesses in this area as we become more well-known.”
Logo Boys, which was founded in 2000, was also recently awarded a local Minor League Baseball license which will further expand their offerings to the sporting arena. They are also focusing on other niche segments such as racing, casinos and healthcare beyond their existing core of manufacturing and service businesses in Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.
“Logo Boys philosophy is a focus on making our customers look good, both short-term and for the long-term, creating value through growth and committing to creative ideas to ensure their success,” said Dean Himelick. “This new era is beneficial for all parties, positioning Logo Boys to continue its market leadership and growth.”
